The sauna makes diet unimportant in controlling psoriasis

D: One of the things I’ve heard is diet helping along with psoriasis. Now is this compatible with that? Does it help? Or does this work by itself?

It’s interesting that you mention that because the diet issue is where these foods – there are certain foods you are intolerant to that have naturally occurring toxins that most people can metabolize but people with psoriasis can’t. So if there’s an elimination of those foods, yes, it will help.

But the people who are using Sauna Ray saunas are saying to us that it doesn’t matter what they eat anymore. As long as they’re religiously going in their saunas to the extent that it’s every day pretty much for them. If they get any reaction of any sort it’s generally because they haven’t been using their sauna for 3 or 4 day. And we’ve heard this with other skin disorders as well.

Acne treated with sauna

Acne is one in particular. Where people have severe acne, they’re doctors are recommending they go on an odd assortment of drugs such as long term antibiotics. They put girls on the birth control pills at a very young age because they say the estrogen in this will help to balance the toxins coming out on their skin which is causing the acne. But in two weeks of regular sessions in the Sauna Ray, they don’t have the acne anymore.
